Hugo House presents: Scrivener Fundamentals

(Thank you to Amy and Aubrey at Hugo House for the snappy text!)

You downloaded Scrivener. You opened it. And then you closed it real fast.

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, confused, or just plain annoyed trying to learn Scrivener, you’re not alone. This two-session crash course is designed to help you actually use the program—without spending hours lost in menus or watching outdated tutorials.

In just four hours, you’ll learn Scrivener fundamentals for every stage of the writing process: drafting, organizing, revising, line editing, restructuring, and exporting your work to Word, PDF, or e-book formats. No fluff, no filler.

Instead of starting at the beginning, we’ll start with you: your current project, your needs, your goals. You’ll get real-time support and structured time to set up your project during class—so you leave with a working file, a sense of control, and momentum to keep going.

Perfect for writers of all genres and experience levels who want to write more and wrangle less.

Register here.

Basic computer literacy required (able to install software, adjust settings, upload and download files).
